Jan Byyny

Dr. And Mrs. Richard Byyny have released the following statement on the progress of their daughter Jan Byyny.

Jo and I, Jan's mother and father, want to update everyone on her condition.  

Jan had a serious fall at Pine Top Horse Trials on February 28, was unconscious for about two minutes and suffered multiple contusions and a fractured right forearm. She was transported to the hospital in Augusta for evaluation and care.

She is still hospitalized, but is stable, alert, oriented and walking. Her horse, Jack, is fine.  

Many have been concerned about Jan and she greatly appreciates all of your thoughts and prayers. We will try to keep you informed about her progress as things develop. She knows many of you care about her and wish her the best and we all thank you for your concern and support.
